The Aerotropolis Regional Committee has launched the Colorado Aerotropolis, a vast expanse of undeveloped land surrounding Denver International Airport. The initiative aims to attract visionary leaders, manufacturers, and industry giants, leveraging the airport’s connectivity, diverse workforce, and strategic location.
Adeeb Khan, Executive Director of Denver Economic Development & Opportunity, expressed enthusiasm: “I am thrilled to celebrate the launch of the Colorado Aerotropolis, which promises to generate economic vitality through our outstanding airport and ensure sustained prosperity for our community.”
Emma Pinter, Commissioner and Chair of Adams County, emphasized the collaborative effort: “Today marks a historic milestone for Adams County and our neighbors, as we unite to create new job opportunities and secure a prosperous future for Colorado families.” Mayor Mike Coffman of Aurora highlighted Colorado’s strengths: “With our highly educated workforce and renowned research institutions, the Colorado Aerotropolis will provide businesses direct access to the state’s rich resources, fostering innovation and growth.”
Phil Washington, CEO of Denver International Airport, emphasized the airport’s pivotal role: “As one of the world’s busiest airports, DEN facilitates essential connections that can drive new business ventures near the airport and throughout the region.”
Mayor Greg Mills of Brighton underscored the economic impact: “The Colorado Aerotropolis will expand opportunities across our state, attracting high-quality employers and bolstering our vibrant economy.” Mayor Jan Kulmann of Thornton highlighted the broad economic benefits: “The Colorado Aerotropolis will cultivate innovation and development, offering substantial returns to our region.”
